国産広葉樹を使い草木染技法で染色された自然な風合いが魅力的な48×48㎝のマルチクロスです。48㎝角の大判ハンカチとしても使えるサイズは、お弁当包みにも最適。
栗の鉄媒染は栗に含まれるタンニンと鉄が反応することでグレーからブラックに染まります。どれも渋くかっこいいカラーですが日ごとに異なる色合いに染まるため、おまかせ・濃いめ・明るめの3種からお選びください。
化学染料とは異なり色落ちしやすい素材ですが、染め直しチケット付きで、色あせた際には無料で染め直しのサービスがご利用いただけます。
制作には国内有数の家具の産地である飛騨高山の家具工房「木と暮らしの制作所」と共に高齢者の社会参加を進めるプロジェクトの一環として、高齢者リハビリ施設のLOCOMO（喜林グループ）が参画し染色から梱包までを担っています。

This 48 x 48 cm multi-purpose cloth is made from domestic broadleaf trees and dyed with plant dyeing techniques, giving it an attractive natural texture. The size is 48 cm square, so it can also be used as a large handkerchief, making it ideal for wrapping lunch boxes.
The copper mordant of the chestnut is an earth color that gives a natural feel, such as brown and khaki. Since it will be dyed in different shades each day, please choose from three types: random, dark, and light.
Unlike chemical dyes, this material is prone to color fading, but it comes with a re-dyeing ticket, so you can use the re-dyeing service for free if it fades.
This service is only available in Japan.
The production is part of a project to promote social participation of the elderly, in collaboration with the furniture workshop "Wood and Living Factory" in Hida Takayama, one of Japan's leading furniture production areas, and the elderly rehabilitation facility LOCOMO (Kirin Group) is involved, handling everything from dyeing to packaging.
